Suprisingly snug!
The sippy tops are harder to get around cups than I thought, but I guess that's imperative to create a seal. You definitely have to use both hands to get it on. I didn't realize this came with a cup, so that was a bonus. Overall, we've been pretty pleased with this purchase! It's great for traveling.
